  It is a basic small town Loblaws. They do have a cooking school that has some great classes.

  You have to be aware of their "special" in-store prices versus other grocery stores' pricing, to know if it's a good deal.

  Supermarket chain with a large organics section the produce is usually fresh but I don't like their pre cut/packaged vegetables, fruits and nuts... I find them not fresh and neglected by the people in charge... Also make sure you check the expiry dates as I have found many expired items.

  The selection of fresh cut fruit and salads is very basic but okay. The hot food selection is decent. Unsure if there is a area to sit down and enjoy your food.

  Loblaws quality of food is superb. With their fresh products and the staff continually works to maintain that level of acceptable quality. The level which my family has grown to trust!

  As a senior (85) I rarely shop at Loblaws. I find their prices are considerably higher than competitors. A recent example - strawberries $5.99 versus $2.98 across the street - same brand, same size. Items priced at 2 for $6.00 and 1 for $3.99 really annoy me. I don't need two! On the plus side, the pharmacy staff are terrific - most helpful, obliging, and efficient.

  A great place to do your weekly grocery shopping. They basically have all the groceries you could ever need. Also having Joe Fresh there is great too so you can do some clothes shopping as you grocery shop.
