    My main problem with Food Basics is they rarely have what is on sale if you are not there on the first or second day of the sale. I have to travel quite a distance just to be disappointed

    It's not as nice and inviting as Loblaws but they have good prices

    Cheap base prices on food compared to loblaws, sobeys foodland etc. I wish they would keep stuff stocked better. Like coffeemate! Every time I run in for some it's out of stock

    Great value and helpful staff make this my go to place for grocery staples.

    Prices are very good and staff are usually helpful. Sometimes their produce is a little off. Aisles are very narrow which can make it hard to navigate, especially when it's crowded. Bags are a nickel each and they won't help you bag, so bringing reusable bags and an extra set of hands along is recommended.
