  Nurse was nice, process is fine. Unfortunately I got a doctor who doesn't listen to the parent. So this evening my son is getting sicker (as I told her he would) and will have to suffer until Monday waiting for "swabs". Oddly enough, when I went to the pharmacy, and talked to the pharmacist, about how my son gets tonsillitis and the Doctor insisted on denying treatment because the swab for strep was negative. The pharmacist said "tonsillitis doesn't swab positive for strep". So here he lies, fever going higher, and totally lethargic because someone followed some textbook and didn't listen when I said we had experienced this more than once. And we don't overuse either. I checked with the pharmacist to see when he last had a script for this type of INFECTION, and it was almost 9 months ago.

  I would not recommend this service at all. I called ahead and was told I would be seen as long as I arrived by 3 pm. I arrived at 2.59. I waited until 3.29 PM when a nurse came out and told me they weren't seeing anyone else. There was 1 person in the waiting room.. just going in. I tried to explain that I had called but she wouldn't listen. The lady from the pharmacy tried to talk to her as well and she would not listen to her either. Just said sorry. I then called the head office who said that the nurse should have offered to book me an appointment. Huge disappointment.. terrible service. I will never go back.

  What a waste of time. Dr. was non communicative. The RPN tried hard though.

  I have been here twice and both times, I had a great experience. As another reviewer suggested, part of this probably depends on the doctor you get, although, the same could be said of ANY walk in clinic. They can't always help babies under 2 (they don't always have the right sized equipment) but I'd rather spend a half hour here, than 3 or for at the Hospital. I will continue to use this service and recommend it.
